Kim Balance: One Week Later, Part One It was a beautiful Friday afternoon at the Peters household. Kimberly Peters hummed cheerfully to herself as she worked on some math homework. While she worked on it, she had her computer on in the background playing a YouTube playlist of news programs she had been following in the past week. It had been nearly a week since her superheroine alter-ego, the uneven growth heroine Kim Balance, made her debut by defeating the mouse-themed thief Julius Cheesar. Kimberly had been watching news programs and social media outlets during the past week looking for any and all mentions of her heroic exploit. To her disappointment, most of the media coverage in the immediate aftermath of Julius' arrest was focused primarily on the police's investigation of the thief's criminal activity, and the discovery of multiple safehouses that the thief had used in-between his thieving expeditions. The whole family, all eight of them, had sat down to see what the latest happenings were in their otherwise quiet city.
